Project 1: Lagos Urban Transport Project II: Intelligent Transport Systems Design, Specification, procurement and Project Delivery

Project Description and Scope

Following a very competitive selection process, I was engaged by the World Bank to lead the Stakeholder engagement, Enterprise Architecture Systems design, specification, procurement and project delivery of a $5M ITS implementation to support the operation of a new fleet of 600 public transport buses in Lagos Nigeria. The range of systems delivered include systems for vehicle tracking, prediction engine, Video Surveillance (CCTV), Operations/Control room, Data Centre M2M communications, real time passenger information, bus stop displays and digital channels (websites and mobile apps)

Project 2: Ikeja Bus Reform Initiative: Supply & Installation of Public Transport ITS Solution including Integration with Existing ITS Platform

Project Description and Scope

LAMATA appointed Genyz Transport Solutions as ITS Consultant on the Ikeja Bus Reform project. The general scope includes ITS data collection, system design, specification, procurement support and Project Management Consultancy. Genyz will work with the chosen supplier to ensure  a solution that fully integrates with existing platform provided by IVU Consortium.

Project 3: Oshodi- Abule  Egba Bus Initiative: Supply & Installation of Public Transport ITS Solution including Integration with Existing ITS Platform

Project Description and Scope

In a bid to ensure optimal operations, Intelligent Transportation Systems are to be deployed, Genyz Transport Solutions was appointed the ITS consultant for  Oshodi – Abule-Egba BRT. The main objective is to meet the growing transport needs, and improve mobility in the state, by constructing a new BRT Route- Oshodi – Abule-Egba BRT.
